Rwanda micro-lots are here!

We are excited to introduce some delicious new Red Bourbon to North America markets for the first time from our partners over at Muraho Trading Company in Rwanda. This coffee is fully washed, but the unique and complex flavors really come from fermentation periods of 6 to 12 hours, and from drying in the sun for 30-35 days. Take a look below at the few washing stations these are from and contact your trader today for samples, they're going fast!

Muraho Trading Company values agricultural practices through training and education. In addition, they are focusing on developing nurseries for their family of farmers after a successful season last year. Last season, they developed a nursery for 110,000 seedlings (50,000 in Kilimbi and 60,000 in Rugali) and distributed them successfully to their family of farmers in Nyamasheke.

Rugali – Nyamasheke district. 1,550 to 1,800 meters above sea level.
Kilimbi – Nyamasheke district. 1,650 to 1,850 meters above sea level.
Shyira – Nyabihu district. 1,800 to 2,200 meters above sea level.
Bumbogo – Gakenke district. 1,650 to 2,000 meters above sea level.
Vunga - Nyabihu district. 1,650 to 2,000 meters above sea level
