This natural coffee comes from a women’s cooperative in the Kayanza Province. Its Kirundi name, translated, means “be fortunate,” which is certainly the aim of the co-op. All of sales of this green coffee — according to exporter JNP Coffee, led by founder Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian — will directly support the approximately 200 women who cultivated and processed it.
Cupping notes: Pineapple, floral, juicy.
