Granos La Fortaleza is located at 1,000 masl in the region of Chilon in Chiapas, Mexico. Pascual Castillo owns and manages finca La Fortaleza and has over 30 years experience in the coffee business. He was partners with a successful wholesale coffee company called Cafes Tomari. Three years ago, he started a new project on a farm in Chiapas growing plants around two and a half years ago. He houses a reforestation program with over 4 million coffee plants that he gives away to small coffee producers int he area to help them improve their coffee quality.

Cupping Notes: Smooth body and nutty as it cools with bright and sweet flavors like vanilla, graham cracker and chocolate.
