Privacy Policy

We take the protection, and use of, your personal data seriously. And, plainly, our focus is on providing you with green coffee and the very best service. We hope that we’re using customer and visitor data in the most minimal ways that you — our customers and visitors — expect. But here’s a detailed breakdown:

Collection and processing of personal data
Should we request personal data on our web sites (such as your name, address or e-mail address), for example in the form on our Contact page, we use this data for the simple business purpose of sending the requested information.

For questions of any kind, you’re welcome to reach out directly via the addresses or phone numbers on the Contact page. Traders can always be reached at traders.iacus@nkg.coffee.

Once you provide consent for us to contact you or use your address to send you a newsletter or other interesting information about our company, you may change your mind at any time, without providing a reason. To do this, please click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the newsletter, or email us at newsletter.iacus@nkg.coffee with the subject line “UNSUBSCRIBE.”

Cookies
This site uses “cookies.” Cookies are text files that your Internet browser stores and saves on your computer and that allow an analysis of website use. These are cookies that serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser. No personal data will be collected here. You can prevent the cookie installation by setting your browser accordingly. This may not allow you to use all offers fully.

This website uses session cookies, which are temporary cookies that are created and stored while visiting the web site and while the internet browser is open. Session cookies allow the website to note what you have selected on the previous page so you do not have to re-enter the information. Session cookies on our website do not contain private information and do not allow you to be identified.

Record-keeping
Each time you access our website, logs are created in Google Analytics and processed for statistical purposes, without recording the identity of the individual user:

  • Referrer (page whose link led you to this website)
  • Search terms (using search engines for referrers)
  • The IP address is evaluated to determine the country of origin and the provider
  • Browser, operating system, installed plug-ins and screen resolution
  • Time spent on the page

We look at these numbers to see how we’re doing — to see how many visitors we’re receiving, which coffees receive the most views. Things like that.

Liability for content
The contents of this site were created with the greatest of care. We can, however, assume no liability for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the content.

Social media
We promote the service Instagram on our site. Instagram is a service of Instagram Inc. By means of the integrated button on our page, Instagram receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged into Instagram, Instagram may assign the visit to our site to your Instagram account and link the data by this means. The data transmitted by clicking the “Insta” button is stored by Instagram. You can find more information regarding the purpose and scope of data collection, its processing and use, as well as your related rights and settings options for protecting your privacy in the Instagram Data Protection Notice available here.

To prevent your visit to our site from being accessed by your Instagram account, you must log out of your Instagram account before visiting our site.

We also use the service Facebook and may use your email address to direct content, offers or event information to your Facebook page.

Newsletter

Our home page offers you the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter. The newsletter — which currently goes out twice a month — provides information about our coffees, offers, events and fun, relevant information. You may also receive our newsletter once you become a customer.

Our newsletter is sent out through Constant Contact and includes so-called web bugs that allow us to recognize if and when an email has been opened and which links in the email have been clicked by its recipient.

This data is stored in Constant Contact and used by us to best align our newsletter to the interests of our subscribers.

Change of our privacy policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy from time to time to keep it continually current with legal requirements and to implement any changes to our services, e.g. when introducing new services. Your new visit will then be subject to the new privacy policy.

Questions
If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data, you are always welcome to contact us directly with questions or requests, at newsletter.iacus@nkg.coffee.
