Helen has always loved coffee. She started to work at a Providence coffee shop in 2004 and joined InterAmerican Coffee in 2010. It was the perfect move. She considers herself fortunate to be able to explore many aspects of working in the coffee industry, taking care of the logistics, roasting and evaluating coffee, selling coffee and helping customers on a daily basis.
In her free time, Helen enjoys being in her studio, cooking and watching good films. She also designs and installs wild gardens.

Random fact: I love shoes.
Best coffee memory: As a child, bringing home freshly ground coffee in a paper bag that was warm to touch, ground very fine. My mom would then make Turkish coffee. No Turkish connection, that was just what she did.
Profession you wanted to be when you were a kid: I wanted to build tiny houses... Who knew?
