As happens each year, the winter holidays arrive in the blink of an eye. We have already put some of December behind us, with Christmas and New Year holiday closures fast approaching. The expected post-Thanksgiving rush is still impacting orders, resulting in delays at warehouses as well as with trucking companies. Unfortunately, we do not anticipate improvement on this front. With rising cases of the flu, Covid 19, RSV and other illnesses across the country, we could very well see labor shortages exacerbate the already hectic situation.

The best protection for you, our dear customers, is to build as much cushion as possible into your timeline to counter potential delays. This means getting your holiday orders in early – ideally, this week!

Please note that InterAmerican offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2, in observance of Christmas and New Year's Day, respectively. Until then, and after and in between, we're here to help meet your coffee needs!
